WorkshopUnilateral Moves, Universal Gains
A Pilates Approach to Precision, Power & Performance
Sport rarely happens perfectly symmetrically. Running, throwing, kicking, changing direction and rotating all require the body to manage different demands from side to side.
This practical workshop explores how unilateral Pilates training can reveal asymmetries, challenge balance and coordination, and develop control and strength. We’ll progress movements across the Pilates apparatus and explore how unilateral work can be adapted to the demands of different sports -with the focus on function and performance rather than chasing perfect symmetry.
